Lund University is Sweden’s second oldest university, continuosly ranking in the top 100 universities globally. In 2021, the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences asked me to create a lecture intended for the students at the Bachelor’s Program in Fashion Studies.

The lecture explored how perfume can be approached from an art historical and fashion theoretical point of view. Students were guided through the worlds of fashion and perfumery, closely intertwined since the beginning of the 20th century, alongside theoretical tools to analyze how scent and clothing relate to the social body in society.
